                                        The Berea Chamber of Commerce welcomes you!

                                        Ask almost any Chamber member why they joined and they’ll tell you, in                                            Berea it’s the most important way to meet and network with a wide variety                                            of business people and to grow their business.

                                        You want your business to thrive.  So do we.  That’s why your Chamber                                                works hard every day to:

·       Create opportunities for meaningful business connections and promotion

·       Advocate for a strong business climate and member businesses

·       Pursue additional jobs and capital investment for more business opportunities for everyone

·       Enhance Berea’s image

When you join the Berea Chamber of Commerce you gain an energetic partner dedicated to helping you and the community succeed.

Beautiful Berea has so much to offer and we're ready to share it with you. Whether you're an energetic, start-up entrepreneur, who is ready to open a new business's doors for the very first time, or a small business owner whose growth required an upgrade to a larger facility, or if you're searching for a location to expand your industry's operations and engage our local workforce to join you in your success - you can find it all right here in Berea.

Our Chamber also plays host to a number of community events with the largest by far, being our signature Spoonbread Festival. In the twenty plus years since its inception the Spoonbread Festival has become the single most attended event in the city of Berea. Other Chamber sponsored happenings include Berea’s twilight Christmas Parade, a golf outing, Geocaching weekend and tour, a Duck Derby and the list goes on.

Berea is home to working artisans and growing businesses, and is loved by all - individuals, families, children, college students, and retirees. You'll find a rich history, a deep respect for sustainability and green technology, plus an emphasis on education and cultural diversity. Berea is an official Kentucky Trail Town, which helps to promote its up and coming adventure tourism opportunities. We offer sports and activities for all ages, an impressive City Park, hiking and biking trails, walking paths, geocaches, and kayaking opportunities. Berea is proud to have a great hospital, a globally competitive industry, a variety of locally owned small businesses, Berea College, and two highly ranked public school systems.

Our goal as a Chamber is to promote and support Berea’s businesses and their employees and improve the quality of life in our town. Membership will put you into a network that offers ways for you (or your employees) to engage in Berea’s business community, and can serve as a catalyst for growing your business. Members who actively participate in the Chamber through networking, committee involvement, support of events, and leadership opportunities, will not only make new friends and develop partnerships, but will witness business exposure and growth that is difficult to duplicate without Chamber involvement.

Each of our directors and the members of the Berea Chamber of Commerce strive to adhere to the Chamber’s mission statement: With integrity, to promote prosperity and enhance the quality of life in Berea, Kentucky by:

    Supporting the success and growth of current businesses;

    Encouraging and seeking new business development;

    Enhancing communication and collaboration; and

    Promoting Berea as a place to live, work, and explore.

It is my honor to serve as 2018 President. I hope you will get involved in one or more, and maybe even all, of the exciting events and projects of our Chamber as we work together to make Berea even better.

Blessings and best regards,

Teresa Scenters
