Happy 231st birthday America!!
As we celebrate our freedom this 4th of July let us not forget those who enable us to do so, and those who have served our great nation in one capacity or another, past, present, and in the future.
Thank you to Buddy Montgomery, Jack and June Frank, Leah McKinney, Tanner Stambaugh, David and Sandy Rowlette and the staff at Battlefield Golf Course for all your hard work on our 15th annual golf tournament. It was a great success and lots of fun. We had very positive comments from all the players. Thanks to all of our sponsors and businesses that donated items for the goodie bags and door prizes.

We are getting ready for the 11th Annual Spoonbread Festival. The steering committee is hard at work getting things ready to go. You will be getting packets of information very soon to let you know the many different ways you can be involved. This is our largest event of the year and brings lots of challenges our way, therefore we need all hands on deck. Look at the information and let David or Carol know how you can help.
THANKS AGAIN TO OUR MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE! WE HAVE ADDED 61 NEW MEMBERS TO DATE. WHAT A GREAT JOB!
Thank you Charlie Hoffman and the government affairs and public relations committee on another great survey. This time concerning the moist vote coming up on July 31st. Please remember the chamber is not taking an official position on the issue of alcohol sales in Berea. We are simply trying to be a channel of information to our members and the community as a whole. GO VOTE ON THE 31st.
Lets all do our part for the place we call home, get involved, we must work together for the good of Berea.
Sincerely,
Greg
