As spring quickly approaches and mother nature begins the renewal process the Chamber is actively busy as well. Our golf scramble is scheduled for June 5th at Berea Country Club. Please plan to join us there for a great day of fun and networking on the course with many opportunities to win some great prizes. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Please contact the Chamber with any questions. Our membership committee has been busy and recently conducted an orientation session for new members on March 11th. The next session will be June 10th. I will be filling the three vacant board positions that the Chamber currently has at our April Board meeting. I would like to welcome Tommy Floyd as our newest board member. Tommy has graciously agreed to accept the vacancy that was left by the untimely passing of Mike Caudill. Tommy is also the new superintendent of Madison County Schools. We are looking forward to working with Tommy and I know that he will be a huge asset to the Chamber. The ambassador committee has been extremely busy with ribbon cuttings for several new businesses in the past few weeks. We are extremely delighted to welcome Smokehouse Grill, LA Nails, and Danosh Toys as our newest members. Please mark your calendars for Thursday, April 24th as we welcome Lt. Governor Daniel Mongiardo to Berea for a special Chamber luncheon. I am looking forward to working with all of our members, the city of Berea, and the community in the upcoming months as we continue to make Berea a better place to live, work, and play. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. I can be reached at 859-985-8473, on my mobile phone at 606-308-5618 or vie email at millergd@ft.newyorklife.com. Sincerely, Danny Danny Miller President

Moving Forward
During our March meeting, the Chamber Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Charles Hoffman as President of the Chamber. Consequently, I will be completing Charlie’s term, moving up from the President Elect position.
Due to business and family commitments, Charles felt that it was best for him to resign his position as president. I would like to personally thank Charles for his time and effort not only as president but also as an active member of the Board and committee chair in recent years. I feel confident in speaking for the entire board in saying that we all wish Charles and his family the best and he will be missed.
